Hello,
We have a scenario where we have SQL Server 2005 Express 32 bit
installed on a 64 bit Vista computer. When applying SQL Server
hotfixes (such as this one:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=4C9851CC-2C4C...90-872C)
should we use the 32 or 64 bit version of the hotfix. Thanks.

Hi

I would assume that the hotfixes would match the version installed.
Installing the wrong one will probably give an error although I've never
tried it.

You have 32 bit software so you apply the 32 bit fix. It's your OS that is
64 bit and it would need 64 bit patches.
