When I right click at the top of the Navigation Pane and choose
"Navigation Options" in an ACCDB or an MDB I can Add, Delete, and
Rename Groups and Categories.
When I do the same in an ADP (in Access 2007) the buttons and dialogs
for Groups and Categories are disabled.

Am I neglecting to do something to enable these?
Perhaps, this does not work in any ADP, not just mine?
Perhaps, there is a reason?
I can hear the foes of ADPs muttering to themselves now, "You ASKED
for it!". So I am ducking.

Yes, I have [Google Searched] this. No, I have not found anything
helpful.

Only six hours nine minutes left to abandon Access, as a year-end
triumph, too.

I've only seen the "Checking for solutions" strike gold, so to speak, once.
My old version of Quicken 2005 crashed, and it took me to a page
recommending I download a fix from Intuit, which, after downloading, refused
to load of course.

I think they just renamed the "Send error report" from xp to "checking for
solutions.." blah blah.

Anyway, I've posted many a time about access 97 giving me fits on my old xp
machine with frequent blue screens. On that same xp machine, access 2007
played much nicer. Speed is very good on dual-core's, but I think those
without dual-core's are the one's who notice speed issues.

Happy new year, Lyle!

Hi Andy. Are you saying that a given database performs better in
A2007 than A2003 on your machine? For some reason I just don't see
that. A2003 is faster at doing everything from opening forms to
running queries. And yes, I do have a dual core. It's running at 3.8
Ghz, I have 4 gig of ram and a WD Raptor hard disk. The machine is
like greased lightening, but I find A2007's speed disappointing
compared to A2003.
