How can i Acess a ODBC Scource ?

I use a Application that has a build in Spreadsheet "Formula One ActiveX
spreadsheet component Version 5.0 "
(http://www.xlsoft.com/en/products/re/products/activex/overview.html)

Now , i want to catch some Data from Sheet with my own VB Programm. I am
not sure if this possible with ODBC.
Can anyone give my some sample how to do this ?
