Post subject: ActiveBatch transfer
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>server (more info?)

We're using ActiveBatch, a batch processing monitor, that uses SQL Server to
keep its internals. We're setting up a DR system, and want to see about
transferring the ActiveBatch database to DR, and doing a string cleanup of
job definitions and such, changing share names from \\oldsys\foobar to
\\newsys\foobaz and the like.

Does anybody have any experience doing such a thing?

Is there a better option to setting up two related environments?

And yes, is there a better support discussion group for the product, I have
to wonder, but I'm the third guy this has been just dumped on, have been
looking at the data, other guys have already talked to the company without it
getting done, so I thought I'd at least ask here while getting that in gear.
Thanks.

Josh
