Hello

We are about to convert our authentication from plain text
(passwd/shadow) to an mysql database to ease administration. Dows
anyone know of a script that
kan take the passwd and shadow file as input and create tables and
database for mysql ?

are you using linux shadow passwords /etc/shadow ?

Importing the username and passwords to mysql should be easy.

How do you plan to authenticate against mysql ?
