I have an access 2000 format MDB accessed by a vb6 front end. I am getting
error 3043 accessing a particular table - it works fine sometimes, and
others causes 3043 disk or network error. I can specify a short query such
as Select table.tablename from tablename etc and then get error 3078 Cannot
find tablename

Compacting, repairing, importing the table etc. has not helped. I believe I
have corrupt data somewhere. . .

I'd try one of the repair services, but they seem to just run it through an
automated routine. . I'd pay for the repair, but want to know it will work!

Suggestions? Other ideas? Know a good repair service?

I would b more inclined to think you have a dodgy network or a server config
problem. Or your hard disk is failing and the MDB file is on the bit that
is failing.

Thanks for the suggestions. It's not a network issue, as it happens on the
local system. I've reproduced it on several systems - windows 2000 and XP.

Other suggestions?
