Archived from groups: microsoft>public>vb>database (more info?)

I have a VB6.0 (SP6) program using the standard data control to access an Access 2000 database. I get different errors on Win 98 and Win 2000 and the program cannot access the database. I know I am not distributing the proper support files. Can someone tell me what and how to take care of this ? What do I need to add to the package wizard?

3170 - could no tfind installable ISAM (Win 9Cool
523 - The data binding DLL VB5DB.DLL could not be loaded.

Thanks
CM

I always use Packard & Deployment wizard to figure out what to add, and that has been working fine for many years now.

If you only get errors from Win98 and you're using P&D wizard I think you should verify some important differences on how to handle for example early/late binding in Win98 and Win2000 respectively.
