When my program is installed onto a computer running win 98, the program cannot write to the access 2000 database. Works great on XP.

Can anyone tell me what files my distribution package is missing?

Thanks
CM

I bet your program has more than 200 lines of codes and all you can post is two senteces....

Well, let me refrase it, Did you get any error number back?, did the app crash?
Is the Win98 a Win98 SE or the older versions.??

Win98 and XP is not based on the same platform, there are alot of things one must remember to check when developing on a XP for a Win98, many functions just don't act the same way. (vice versa is probably easier)

Hi,
the P&D wizard is usefull for identifing the depedent binaries.
I'd advise against using the P&D wizard package for the distribution itself,
try something like INNO setup instead, which seems quite popular in the
newsgroups(I hav'nt used it myself) (http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php) .

hth,
Dave
