e.g. equal highest score in a round of sporting matches.

1. Create a summary field called sMax_Score
2. Check the radio button that determines MAX value for the Score field.
3. Place the sMax_Score summary field on the sub-summary section of the
layout.
4. In list view you will see the max score in the sub-summary section
(probab;y sorted by sporting event/matches.

Thank you for your reply and suggestions, but I still haven't completely
achieved what I was trying to do.
I have a field for a team's score placed in a sub summary section along
with fields for the opponent and date and date and place of match.
The data is then sorted by opposing teams and the teams' scores against
them in descending order.
In Preview Mode (when sorted by opponent) the team's all time highest
score against each opponent is displayed along with date and place of
the match.
What is not indicated (nor displayed) is if the score is an EQUAL
highest score.
In the case of there being an equal value or values for the highest
score what is shown is only the latest occurrence of this score.

I suspect Filemaker can't do what I want in a sub summary report but any
further ideas or suggestions would me most appreciated.
Thanks again for your interest.
