Are there any news about Geometry support in the JDBC driver? Can you give a
schedule when the next JDBC driver version with Geometry support will be
released?

Or have you any hints about how to determine if a column read from the JDBC
driver
is a Geometry-Type or anything else? Until now it is recognized as binary
type.

Thanks,
Pascal

Hi Pascal,

Thank-you for your interest in finding out about the Geometry data type
support in our JDBC driver. At this time we are not able to provide any
timeline on when a JDBC driver will be released with support for Geometry
data type.

Regarding the question on determining if a column is Geometry type, you can
directly query SQL Server for the table schema using T-SQL syntax.
