Post subject: Importing Data from Excel to Access

I am new to Msoft Access. I am attempting to import an excel spreadsheet of automotive accessory applications into Access. The Excel file is a rather large file of over 5000 lines which has a couple of fields (columns) labeled MYI and MYO (model year in and model year out) to simplify the unnecessary duplication of data. My dilemma is that I don't want to have to manually fill in the missing years (the model years between MYI and MYO) which would be monumental. Is there an easier way to perform this either in Excel or Access?
