Is it possible to get a 64 bit Ingres odbc driver to windows.

Do you know when Ingres will deliver a 64 bit driver.

Hello Erik,

AFAIK there is no definitive date / announcement for the availability
of a Win-64 version of Ingres. Latest commercial Ingres release 2006
R2 SP1 is 32-bit, but is officially supported on Win-64 (see the
README for this release).

You can use the 32-bit Ingres ODBC driver in a 64-bit environment. You
must explicitely use the 32-bit version of MS-ODBC-Admin which is
still there on 64-bit machines:
--> Start --> run --> odbcad32.exe

HTH

Hi Gerhard

Thanks for your answer .

Our problem is, we want to connect from MS sqlserver 2005 64 bit,

to an Ingres database, but MS sqlserver cant use Ingres 32 bit ODBC driver.

Regards Erik
