Post subject: MSDE on a Linux Utility Server
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>connect (more info?)

I'm trying to upsize from Access to SQL without the expense and so I'm trying
to use MSDE. Before I waste too much time, though, does anybody have any
experience trying to install and run MSDE on a linux based utility server?
The server has no problem with the rest of my Windows XP based programs and
workstations. Thank you
