Place it on the OS drive. The OS drive does not get used much anyway and you
should not page much if you have a properly configured server and SQL Server
is the only main app running on it.

Thanks,

what about the size of the pagefile.sys?

I'm using Windows Server 2003 x64 with 16 GB RAM and Navision 5.0 Database(s).

How much free space do you have on the drive? If SQL Server is the only app
running on the server then there should not be any paging to speak of so the
size of the pagefile is not as critical as it used to be. If you want a full
memory dump in the case of a serious problem you need the swap file to be as
big as the physical memory. But that should be the only reason to have it
that large. But if you have the space by all means make it 16GB.
