Salary: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00

Large meat processor in the Midwest in an effort to improve
operational efficiency is seeking an experienced and creative
Programmer
with Progress Language skills to create new programs at their award
winning facility.
The position is located in a quiet, beautiful area of Central Indiana.
To be considered for this role:
-You must have a minimum of 5 years of programming experience using
Progress Language (vers.10) as well as Windows CP, Unix/Linux
in a manufacturing environment.
-A four year degree is preferred.
-You must have the ability to create, design, install & compile
Progress Code and manage live & development databases.
Design: You will use your programming skills to product custom
designed software & report generation software modules for a
processing & distribution facility including EDI, Purchase Orders,
Invoices, Advanced Shipping Notices, Accounting/Invoicing applications
and labels
(some written in foreign languages)
Development: You will collaborate with management and department
leaders on projects, design & user interface as well as perform
Database management
and enhancements; develop user data entry screens and debug, test &
document all newly developed software.
