Red Gate Software is doing some preliminary research around the area of
database development processes, especially in relation to source
control and versioning. If you are a SQL Server database developer, we
would much appreciate your participation in our short survey, which
will help us shape the new versions of our products. This should take
no longer than ten minutes of your time. Thank you for helping us
create better SQL Server tools!

Sounds like an interesting initiative.
BTW SQL Compare just failed on me. In my test database I added a
column, then I modified several SPs to support the new column. The
synchronization script which was generated by SQL Compare attempted to
modify the procedures first. In fact the ALTER TABLE statement was at
the very end of the script.
Naturally it gave me a whole bunch of errors..

You are thoughtful and mature so if you commit an act that lacks
both I assume the reason must lie elsewhere. Your specific complaint
would better serve you and the vendor in a more appropriate forum.
Ripping a vendor is fair game but lets keep that game fair.
