I have recently been tasked with implementing a MySQL database and writing a
data retrieval program using ODBC to interface with MySQL.

I am familiar basics of MySQL and ODBC, but I have an intern performing a
majority of the work and they are new to both. We have plenty of reference
material for them to read and use for example for the MySQL part, but we are
having troubles find a good ODBC reference.

There is always MSDN, but I am looking for something more like a book that I
can give to the intern to read and use for example, use cases, etc. Even a
good web link would be fine.

Due to deadlines I just don't have the time to Google the Web for this info
for my intern and can't not afford to let them spend days hunting the
internet either.

Thanks,
Chris Foster

Hi Chris,

Here is a link that will get them started:

Other than that, I recommend to search for the specific information as you develop.
