Hi,

I am looking for a reporting tool with following functionality: any
suggestion will be very much appreciated.

1. Connects to SQL Server database and SSAS cubes
2. Ad hoc reporting
3. Ability to save and publish reports.
4. Ability to subscribe report to be run and emailed automatically.

Thanks
Mahesh

How do you define "ad hoc" reporting, and should the ad-hoc user
experience be customized for both relational (SQL Server) and OLAP data?

Setup is usually a bit different. Ad-hoc report is being done thorugh one
tool (OLAP client, take your pick) while 'relational' reporting is being
done through another tool (SSRS or something similar).

Hi Deepak,

Adhoc reporting is mainly for OLAP data.

I am looking for a tool which allows:
browse OLAP cubes
create report
save report
publish report to other users
subcribe the report to be emailed automatically in specified
periods.

Basically a tool like Cognos connection and Report Studio in Cognos
platform.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks
Mahesh

Hi MC,

Thanks for your response.

I am looking for an integrated tool where user can go get all the
features. It seems Panorama is the solution.

Thanks
