Post subject: The SQL-NS Subscription Management API
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>notificationsvcs (more info?)

Hi all,
before posting a possible implementation of the scenario I depicted in
http://groups.google.it/group/microsoft.public.sqlserver.notifications.../browse
I was facing another problem related to NS, about SQL-NS SMI.
Reading materials through the web, it is suggested that there's no
need to set the database name when you create a NsInstance to add for
example a subscriber.
But in fact I'd like to create a webAp that has no idea where the
instance is located and I need to specify database name. But how could
I?

Thanks

Mauro
