Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>xml (more info?)

I have MS XML6 SP2 installed on a XP SP3 Home edition PC.

When trying to install the SP3 upgrade to SQL it fails with a messeage in
the log that the inatalled verion of XML6 is unsupported.

I have tried to uninstall it via Add and Remove Programs but a get a message
'Fatal error during installation'.

Has anyone any ideas of how to complete the uninstall?
