SQL Sever 2005 Setup On SAN Storage

We are planning to implement SQL server 2005 on SAN storage using RAID
configuration. I want to know what are the best practices to implement the
same and where to store LDF, MDF files?

I suggest that you read the three articles on SQL Server and SAN
configuration by Prem Mehra and Mike Ruthruff of the Microsoft SQL Server
Development Customer Advisory Team. It still leaves room for decision
making, but it at least offers you some insight into the issues.
