Hi,

We are using Analysis Services 2005 with SP2. I am planning to build OLAP
cubes. The data is in DB2 on a MainFrame.

I am wondering if there are Drivers (Microsoft or others) available with the
standard install. Did Microsoft has drivers to support DB2 on Microsoft?

Any information is appreiciated.

Thanks,

Prasad.

If you don't find anything direct to SSAS, you may want to opt for the
SQL Server Linked Server as a contingency path.
There should be either a ODBC or a .Net DB/2 driver I would imagine
with some googling.

You may want to look into DB2 Connect:

I'm not sure if it is absolutely necessary, but it sure does make it easier.
