I have a VB program exe, working on a win 2000 server. Users access this
program by "remote desktop connection" in windows. Some windows updates on
the server have made the program not working and giving the following error.
The remote desktop users who have a server login account which have not got
administrative rights gets this error message. But the exe program can be
executed without any problem when executed directly on the server or with
remote connection by an administrator login. I guess the problem could be a
new security policy of the win updates, but I can't handle.

"Runtime error 80004005
Timeout expired"

Are the clients connecting via DCOM or some other method. If its DCOM you
might check the settings in dcomcnfg or its equivalent.
