Post subject: Snapshot Replication
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>replication (more info?)

we are trying to replicate data from SQL Server 2000 (Distributor/Publisher)
to SQL Server 2008 (Subscriber) both on Windows 2003 SP2.

The Snapshot publication Agent was run and the Snapshot ran successfully.
Next, the process 'Run Agent at Subscriber' with Push type failed with the
following error: - "The subscription(s) have been marked inactive and must be
reinitialized. NoSync subscriptions will need to be dropped and recreated."

We then changed the "Subscription never expires" under the Publisher
Properties,
and Reinitialized all subscriptions.
Next, we cliked the 'Run Agent Now' to start the Snapshot but the same error
appears "The subscription(s) have been marked inactive and must be
reinitialized. NoSync subscriptions will need to be dropped and recreated."

How can we fix this error and thanks for your help.
