This has just started happening with one of my apps, the program is a VB6
frontend to a
mdb backend connected with DAO. The mdb and exe are in the same folder on
the HD of a laptop
The laptop is connected to a network and the user has to logon. When the
laptop is closed it goes into standby
When opened again everything resumes however the application no longer seems
to be connected to the database.
All other programs that were running when the laptop went into standby are
fine even the application
running a network database. I am at a loss! since this has only just started
to happen and nothing seems to have changed.

Any ideas on where to start to track down the problem?

Chris
