Hi guys,
Am having a strange issue with sybase asa 9. I have this application
that needs to be integrated with a fingerprint reader function that
reads fingerprints from a fingerprint reader device and stores them in
the db and performs other functions such as matching, searching and
identifying etc
My problem is that the fingerprint functions work just fine when run
standalone, ie when I call methods to return java SQL Connection, I do
get a connection to db and am able to perform all functions such as
saving, identifying and matching. However when I intgerate the
fingerprint functionality into the rest of my application whenever I
call a method to return java sql connection I get a null pointer
exception with no specific error message from the db.
I have been stuck on this for some time now, any pointers would be
highly appreciated, hope am clear and more detail can be provided.
Thanks

I cannot answer you question, and I think you may have a better chance
of getting an answer when you post in the newsgroup
'sybase.public.sqlanywhere.general' instead, since that newsgroup is
dedicated to SQL Anywhere.
