intall sql 2008 need reboot - the rule "reboot" says we must reboot, we did it several times and always fails. Any solution?

Installing sql 2008 rtm - I downloaded SQL 2008 RTM, but i can't get it to install. I extracted the ISO file to c:\temp. I tried to run the landingPage.exe. The program is complaining about not finding the installation media. What am I doing wrong? I am not able to burn the ISO....
