Why is it that even after I have changed the connect
property of a Data Control to "Access 2000" do I still get
the error...

'Class not registered.
Looking for object with CLSID {00000010-0000-0010-8000-
00AA006D2EA4}'

....when I run the executable file on a non VB installed,
Access 2000 PC?

PLEEEEEEAAAAASE HELP ME!!!!!

Stu

Are you just copying the compiled executable to that machine or are you
installing it with setup by creating a package with P&D?

If your not installing, my guess would be that the target machine is missing
some files that would be installed by setup.

Also, you don't need access or vb on a machine to run a vb / access app.

Cheers Dan.
That did the trick.
Simple really.
I was trying to do everything manually, but I should've
swallowed my pride and used the PD Wizard!
I am in your debt.
Thanks VERY much,
Stu
