Hi,

Db2 is throwing the following error for db2nodes.cfg

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>db2start
SQL6031N Error in the db2nodes.cfg file at line number "1". Reason
code "10".

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>

it seems that db2nodes.cfg is missing from the application data
folder.
any way to get back the system ?

Sivaswami

My windows db2nodes.cfg file looks like this:

0 xxxxxxxx XXXXXXXX 0

where XXXXXXXX is my computer name (in lower case and caps).

On my 9.5 system, the path is C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application Data\IBM\DB2\DB2_V95\DB2
but your path may be different.

There is a change in the machine's name after the installation of db2.
Please suggest what are the files to be changed ?
