Post subject: cannot display chinese
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>clients (more info?)

I cannot display Chinses at ASP page. All chinese data (whatever is
Traditional or Simply Chinese) are displayed as ????.

My website connect to MS SQL Server 2005 and all the chinese data are
displayed as ????.

I try to fix the problem for several days, but still can't fix it. Please
help me to solve this problem.

here is the detail of my system.
* SQL Server 2005 via TCP/IP
* the connection string is "Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;Persist Security
Info=False;User ID=xx;Initial Catalog=websonic_pos;Data
Source=xx.xx.xx.xx;Password=xx;"

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

Check your data in your tables if they look like '?' or chineese characters.
Then you'll see if the problem is unicode\ansi or language codes in your ASP
pages.
