error 1053, cannot start the service

Hey, i am having a problem starting any of the services
that come with the examples of NS. The error is "Error
1053: The service did not respond to the start or control
request in a timely fashion." Does anyone know how to
clear this up? I have been running around in circles
trying to resolve it.

Bobby,
The time I had this error it turned out that the account the services was
used to log on did not have the appropriate permissions in the SQL Server
database!

Check that you are registering the service correctly specifyinh the service
user name using the nscontrol register command.

Also take a look at grantpermissions.cmd that comes with the samples.
