Bobby,
The time I had this error it turned out that the account the services was
used to log on did not have the appropriate permissions in the SQL Server
database!
Check that you are registering the service correctly specifyinh the service
user name using the nscontrol register command.
Also take a look at grantpermissions.cmd that comes with the samples.
