I would allways choose for referenced storing (except GUI graphics). As it
seems you have a lot of objects stored inside your file, you have to rely on
good backups. One corruption and the file might be inaccessable. The stored
files with it. When using references you would only have lost the FMP file,
not the stored files. (Backups still essential ofcourse)
Then again there will me somebody else who swears by storing. It is all just
a matter of opinion. My version with about 5000 jpg's referenced is up and
running stable since version 7. (before that FMP-filesystem was quite
different, so V7 required a rebuild)
