Post subject: Is that ok that I install a cluster in one computer?

| Hi Guys,
I want to learn cluster and want to make a practice of it. Now I only have
one computer, is that ok to make a test? i will install windows 2003 sp1 and
sql server 2005 in it, is that ok? If it is ok, how can I make test for
failover? Because it is only one computer and one node installed for sure, I
don't know how to make test for failover. Please give me some idea. Thanks.

If you only have one machine, and the purpose of installing a cluster is for
training / educational / test... then you really should look at installing
cluster in a Virtual machine, either Microsoft Virtual server or VMWare will
work !
That way you can build a multi node cluster and have the full cluster
experience !
