Post subject: restricting MMC for SQL enterprise manager
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>clients (more info?)

Greetings,

We are running SQL Server 2003 in an academic environment and need to make
the client enterprise manager MMC snap-in available for students but want to
continue to use Group Policy to restrict the use of other MMCs. I don't see
the enterprise manager snap-in to explicitly define access to it in the GPO.
Anyone encountered this before?
